Socks. Men’s socks and women’s socks

Is there a difference between men’s and women’s socks? Nowhere is it written which socks a man or a woman may wear. At Sokisahtel, women’s socks generally come in sizes 36-40 and 40-42, men’s in 40-45, and 46-48 for bigger feet. That does not mean women cannot wear size 40-45 or vice versa — choose by pattern and colours instead. Socks have no gender! Wear the socks you need and want.

What to keep in mind when choosing men’s socks?

Suit socks come in sizes 40-42 and 43-45, because they are made of finer yarn (usually combed cotton). The yarn is less elastic but fine and elegant. Also consider foot width: with a wide foot, always take one size bigger.

What to keep in mind when choosing women’s socks?

If a pair feels too big, wash it once in the machine and let it dry. Once you put them on, the socks will take the shape of your foot and be perfectly comfortable.

Cold feet?

In our climate, keeping feet warm keeps the mind clear. Alpaca and merino wool socks give warmth while staying thin enough to fit in a boot. We also carry soft angora wool socks, plus alpaca wool scarves that are wonderful in our cool winters and make an ideal gift as ready-made gift sets.
